Cardiff have confirmed the capture of former Manchester City midfielder Trevor Sinclair on a free transfer.
The 34-year-old came through a medical successfully and immediately jetted off to team up with the rest of the Bluebirds' squad on their pre-season tour to Portugal.
Sinclair was released by City at the end of last season after struggling to claim regular first-team football there, but he brings considerable experience to the Cardiff squad ahead of the new season.
Cardiff chairman Peter Ridsdale was delighted with the signing, the club's fifth new recruit this summer, and told club's website: "We are delighted to add Trevor to the squad. He is a former England international and has experience at the top level, which is important to us. Trevor will add value and depth to the team and will give us more quality."
