Premier League Rumour Mill: Sven wants Ibrahimovic at City
Sven-Goran Eriksson is to continue his transformation at Manchester City by launching an ambitious bid to sign Inter Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
And the former England boss believes that the Eastlands club can become as big as Chelsea in the next few years.
Eriksson is also chasing Bayern Munich forward Roque Santa Cruz, who is also a target for West Ham, as he chases a place in the UEFA Cup at the end of his first season as a manager in the Premier League.
But the Swede's long-term aims are much higher than that and he said: "We are not Chelsea yet but I hope we will be in the future."
Now that would grab the headlines! Reckon the lanky Ibrahimovic would work well with Rolando. All Bulls1t of course, but nice to be linked at all to players of this profile and class.
