So the Abu Dhabi group have taken over City, promising to make us the biggest club in the world. So far, it seems that the good Dr has put his money where his mouth is, but surely it's all relative in terms of what other arab groups can give another club.

For example, say DIC do take over Liverpool and promise everything to them that our Dr has promised us, does that mean that a great player like Messi will cost say, 200 million instead of about 20 because 2 arab groups are bidding against each other? If so, where does it all end? Other clubs without arab money will be priced out of the market, which will mean there will be only ourselves and Liverpool who can compete for the best, creating a big 2, leaving the likes of Arsenal, Rags and Chelsea (and, thinking about it, Real Madrid, Barca, Milan etc) in our wake.

And if DIC do take over Liverpool and do what the Dr has done for us, wil our Dr become frustrated at not seeing us become the club he envisiged and pull out?

My joy at this takeover and the Robinho signing are tempered by these thoughts. Can anyone put my mind at rest?
