I read with horror the other day that the Spanish City at Whitely Bay was mostly demolished in the late 90's. Can you ask your other half what bits are still left? And where do folks go for a permenant fun-fare up their these days? Espeically on a sunny (always cold) summer day.
I guess it must have got a bit run down like Manchester's Belle View did.
For those who don't know Spanish City was an amusement complex in Whitely Bay newcastle and is mentioned in the Dire Straits track 'Tunnel of Love'.
