Jeez.... even Benjani's had a pop now.

And as shirt-wasting bottom feeders who've somehow managed to make a living from being shit go, he was right up near the top..... For someone who spent 50% of his time ducking under the ball, 49% offside and 1% actually looking like something approaching a footballer (actually, only the goal at OT springs to mind), this is a bit rich....

Benjani hopes to return to full fitness to make his first appearance for Rovers at Eastlands on 11th September.

"It's always nice to play against your old team and I wish I can be fit enough to play, it will be interesting for me," he said.

Benjani also remarked that he is pleased to join Blackburn, and hit out at the lack of trust at City.

"I would prefer to be here, without having all those facilities, and be happy trusting everyone around you," he added.

"Yeah it seems like that and behind the scenes there is no trust. I would prefer to play for a club where you are being trusted and you trust everyone around you."

Well done, you were a figure of fun in our house when you were at Portsmouth, we were gobsmacked when we signed you, and every time we watched you play it was a choice between laughing or crying at your ineptitude. I hope you play against us as well.
