Quote:City's visit to Goodison Park has been moved back by 24 hours to Tuesday, 31 January.
The change comes about because Sunderland's fourth-round FA Cup tie takes place on the preceding Sunday, so they cannot play their scheduled Barclays Premier league game against Norwich 48 hours later on the Tuesday. This game was selected for broadcast on Sky in the UK, as was Everton-City, so to ensure that both fixtures could still be shown on television, the respective fixtures were swapped with City now playing on the Tuesday and Sunderland now facing Norwich on the Wednesday.
So it's OK for City to play Liverpool within 48 hours (with Liverpool having 4 day break) - but not for Sunderland?
Unbelievable
